Global Interdenominational Ministers Fellowship endorses Dr. Emmanuel Peter for Virginia’s gubernatorial race

Dr. Peter, a seasoned leader, teacher, and counselor spent many years helping students in the public schools system.

Academia and a distinguished fellow of the American Journal of Transformational Leadership (AJTL), Dr. Emmanuel Peter, who voiced his intention to joined the race for Virginia’s governor a few weeks ago has received the endorsement of the Global Interdenominational Ministers Fellowship (GIMF). GIMF, a conservative nonpolitical Christian body founded in Richmond Virginia is a convocation of ministers from around the globe, with a spiritual call to share and encourage matters of faith and community.

This would be first political endorsement by GIMF, it was gathered. The Secretary of the group, Rev. Eddie Addai, quoting the scripture responded,  “When the righteous rule the people rejoice.” The group believed that Dr. Peter would be most reliable in facilitating the kind of charismatic and transformational leadership needed in the state of Virginia.

Emmanuel Peter joins GOP’S race for Virginia’s Governor

Dr. Peter who has since filed his candidacy with the Virginia Board of Election as the 5th Republican candidate for the governorship vowed to remain in the race till the primary in June. To boost his message of effective leadership, Dr. Peter’s latest research book on leadership has been released. The book titled “Emotional Intelligence and Nonprofit Leadership Strategies” according to Dr. Peter is already in circulation in book stores all over world and Amazon.

Virginia’s primary election will be held on June 13, 2017. Election for governor is on November 7, 2017. The incumbent, Terry McAuliffe (D) is term-limited and ineligible for re-election in 2017, leaving the race open for contestants like Lieutenant Governor Ralph Northam; and former U.S. Representative, Tom Perriello in the Democratic primary. In the Republicans camp, four candidates have already declared, including two prominent political consultants, a state senator, and a businessman.

Last month, Dr Peter reaffirmed his chances for this position, stating that “The time has come once again to vote a candidate whose views is never against the Second Amendment, but one who advocated the application of commonsense gun laws (background check).”
