Watch Video: Donald Trump Warns Nigerians, “If I win, you leave”

American Billionaire and Republican Presidential Front-runner, Donald Trump, has shot a subtle warning to the Nigerian Community in the United States, after he said all Nigerians would be made to leave the country “when he becomes President”.

He made the “threat” during a rally at Wichita, Kansas. According to Donald Trump, Nigerians ad Mexicans have taken all the jobs meant for honest hard working Americans.

“To Make America great again, we need to get rid of the Muslims, Mexicans and the Africans, especially the Nigerians. They take all our jobs, jobs meant for honest hard working Americans, and when we don’t give them the jobs, the Muslims blow us up”, Trump said.

“We need to get the Africans out. Not the blacks, the Africans. Especially the Nigerians. They’re everywhere. I went for a rally in Alaska and met just one African in the entire state. Where was he from? Nigeria! He’s in Alaska taking our jobs. They’re in Houston taking our jobs. Why can’t they stay in their own country? Why? I’ll tell you why. Because they are corrupt. Their Governments are so corrupt, they rob the people blind and bring it all here to spend. And their people run away and come down here and take our jobs! We can’t have that! If I become president, we’ll send them all home. We’ll build a wall at the Atlantic Shore. Then maybe we’ll re-colonize them because obviously they did not learn a damn thing from the British!”

His speech was met with raucous applause by the 10,000 strong predominantly Caucasian audience. What this portends for Nigeria in the event of the Trump victory is still unclear, but the Nigerian Ambassador to the US has so far allayed fears of all Nigerians living in the USA, although we gather he has secretly packed his bags and is set to move to Mexico or Canada if Trump becomes President.

Nigeria’s federal ministers decry repressive work environment under President Buhari

International Guardian, Houston, TX – Federal ministers in Nigeria may be seriously operating under President Buhari’s severe and pervasive conduct that represses the work environment and impedes with their ability to perform official duties.

Most of them are being subjected to disciplinary servitude with practically no option of resignation, International Guardian investigation reveals. “It would be a big risk to just resign because the EFCC would come after you with something, so they are really trapped” an aide to one of the ministers confided.

The ministers, we gathered were forcefully made to sign several pacts that compromised their constitutional job descriptions. For instance, in July 2015, President Buhari announced in his visit to Washington DC that ministers would no longer have power to award contracts. International Guardian reliably gathered that Buhari’s ministers are currently stripped from fully making major decisions regarding their divisions.

In May, 2016, Buhari reportedly shutdown a meeting with his ministers, and walked out on them over dissuasions about their concerns, especially accommodation. The ministers were seeking financial benefits for their accommodation, but their unconcerned boss,  President Buhari impolitely stood up and stormed out, leaving the ministers miserably hopeless.

An informant very close to Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister of Transportation told our newsroom that, “we have to be patient with our ministers. They are trying. Do you know that they cannot make any official decisions, or suggestions without consulting with the General, and that is slowing down everything we are doing here?”

One of the major stipulations, it was gathered was a mandatory restriction to grant press briefings or issue major press statements without President Buhari’s approval. An aide to a minister specifically told our newsroom that most press releases attributed to their sector directly come from the Presidency. “We actually get wind of most of those from the social media,” the aide confided.

The ministers, it had been reported, were living like squatters in Abuja, dwelling in rented motel rooms, homes, and apartments without any official remuneration to supplement their expenses.

Resignation may not be a pleasant option, our newsroom gathered. “One has to come up with a major excuse like ‘poor health condition’ or ‘real family issues’ to ask to resign. If not, it might be a big risk. You know Buhari does not want his cabinet in the news – anything that would embarrass his cabinet, he would take serious,” a ministerial aide said.

This may explain why some recent ministerial nominees politely turned down their appointments. For instance, one Akinwande Akintunde, a Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology recently rejected Buhari’s appointment to head the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC); then one Usman Bugaji of Arewa Research and Development Project (ARDP) from Katsina state turned down and Pauline Tallen, Former Deputy Governor of Plateau state, turned down their Ambassadorial Appointment respectively.

Nigeria’s first lady will campaign for her husband—despite being told she ‘belongs to his kitchen’

First Lady Aisha Buhari Stands by Her Man

The wife of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has said she is seeking “the success of my husband’s administration,” weeks after saying she may not campaign for him at the next election.

Aisha Buhari gave an interview to the BBC earlier in October, in which she said that Buhari did not know “45 out of 50” of the people he had appointed as ministers and government officials. The first lady also said that she would not campaign for her husband ahead of the next election in 2019 “if things continue like this.”

The interview prompted a sharp response from Buhari. When asked about her comments, the Nigerian president—who was sharing a platform with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin at the time—said that his wife “belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room.” Buhari’s comments were widely criticized by Nigerians on Twitter using #TheOtherRoom.

The first lady visited several areas in Borno state Thursday. The northeastern state has been at the epicenter of Boko Haram’s armed insurgency against the Nigerian state: more than 26,000 people have died in Borno since May 2011, according to the Council on Foreign Relations’ Nigeria Security Tracker.

“On our campaign promises to Nigerians, especially to the people of Borno state, we thank Almighty Allah for giving us the opportunity of beginning to fulfill these promises,” said Aisha Buhari on Thursday, Nigeria’s Premium Times reported.

The first lady added that the “essence of being a good leader” was trying to fulfil promises. “That is what we are all after. And what I am after in particular is the success of my husband’s administration,” she added.

Since Buhari came to power in May 2015, the Nigerian military and regional forces have driven Boko Haram back to its northeastern hideout of the Sambisa forest. The group now controls little territory but continues to carry out sporadic guerrilla attacks.

Aisha Buhari praised her husband’s success in tackling Boko Haram in the original BBC interview. “No one is complaining about being attacked in their own homes…Even kids in Maiduguri have returned to schools,” said the first lady, referring to the capital of Borno State.

The nuisance from Kenya: Every family has a filthy shameless “Malik”

Just like the usual political setting in most African regions, Malik could not deceitfully take advantage of his brother and the White House to build a fortune.

By now, everybody must have known this dude, Malik Obama. A naturalized U.S. citizen, and the half-brother of the current U.S. president, who suddenly turned an ardent supporter of the Republican nominee for president, Donald Trump. He was in the audience at the presidential debate in Las Vegas as Trump’s guest and has since dwelled on twitter to throw supportive political jabs in his favor.

Malik said he would vote for Trump because he “comes across as a straightforward guy”, and countered that the nominee’s proposal for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the US was “common sense”. But his latest controversial engagement was an appearance on The Hannity Show, Fox TV last week to show a rejection of his half-brother and also promote his support for Trump.

Malik said he would vote for Trump because he "comes across as a straightforward guy", and countered that the nominee's proposal for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the US was "common sense".
Malik said he would vote for Trump because he “comes across as a straightforward guy”, and countered that the nominee’s proposal for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the US was “common sense”.

Malik told Hannity, “He (Trump) built a fantastic business empire, and I don’t’ see why he can’t do that for the country.” He also told Hannity that he planned to vote Republican because it’s the party of Abraham Lincoln who freed the slaves. In this clumsy interview moment, Malik and Hannity went on and on until the truth finally came out on why Malik turned against his brother. Just like the usual political setting in most African regions, Malik could not deceitfully take advantage of his brother and the White House to build a fortune.

On his relationship with his half-brother, Malik Obama told Hannity in part, “Since he became president… he’s changed…. I think he has been sucked into that matrix, and mesmerized by the power…. He’s just too formal and stiff.” Malik and Hannity went on with some with cheap shots directed against his half-brother, President Obama.

But Malik’s grudge was obvious. Just as we witness among most African politicians, the President could have showered him with government contracts, and apparently used him to remit millions of dollars to Kenya. That would be the only relationship a greedy African politician would want with a relation in power.

Malik further used Obama’s influence, including portraits and “Change Message” to campaign as the future president of Kenya. In fact, he ran for governor of the state of Siaya in 2013 and disgracefully got a meagre 1 percent of the vote.
Running for governor…. Malik further used Obama’s influence, including portraits and “Change Message” to campaign as the future president of Kenya. In fact, he ran for governor of the state of Siaya in 2013 and disgracefully got a meagre 1 percent of the vote.

What Malik, however, did not properly explain to his Fox audience was how he moved back to his family’s hometown of Kogelo and started a foundation called the Barack H. Obama Foundation; how he used Obama’s name to extort unaccounted donations in Kenya, and how he amassed as many as 12 wives, including a teenage girl – what a travesty.

Malik further used Obama’s influence, including portraits and “Change Message” to campaign as the future president of Kenya. In fact, he ran for governor of the state of Siaya in 2013 and disgracefully got a meagre 1 percent of the vote. Voters rejected him because he had no single agenda, but Barak Obama’s “Change” Portrait. During the time, Malik didn’t think the Republican Party was the party of Abraham Lincoln who freed the slaves, until he found Trump’s money.

Besides his failed dubious political aspirations, Malik has also been accused by this party he now campaigns for as an agent of Muslim terrorists, which ironically ridicules his latest Trump campaign job. This was how Stephanie Mencimer of Mother Jones summarized what Trump may have overlooked when he invited Malik to the last debate;

The conspiracy-minded right-wing press has long held up Malik Obama as proof-positive of the president’s secret Muslim terrorist ties. World Net Daily writer Jerome Corsi, one of the most prominent of the birther conspiracy theorists and a longtime Trump fan, has been covering Malik Obama for years and implying that he has undue influence on his brother in the White House. In 2013, Corsi reported on allegations that Malik was overseeing investments for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and suggested that this financial relationship helped explain why the Obama administration was supposedly supporting the organization. Corsi later claimed that Malik, who built a mosque on the Obama family compound in Kenya, could soon be added to Egypt’s terrorist watch list because of his ties to the Brotherhood. (Malik has vigorously denied the allegations of links to the Muslim Brotherhood.)

This same Malik is now blowing up Twitter recently with a barrage of pro-Trump messages, even criticizing the affordable care, that “Obama care is a bad name for it. Obama does not care. I want Trump care!” Obviously, Malik’s anger is that his brother didn’t help his greed. He told the New York Post, “My brother didn’t help me at all,” and also complained that he did not support his foundation.

But Malik’s grudge was obvious. Just as we witness among most African politicians, the President could have showered him with government contracts, and apparently used him to remit millions of dollars to Kenya. That would be the only relationship a greedy African politician would want with a relation in power.

Malik’s right to support any candidate is never in question, but his reasons for supporting Trump must be set straight. It is all about greed and definitely not as he said, that Trump was a straightforward man. A man who could trade his family for money-spinning political ambition must not be trusted, and such is just the reality of life. Malik’s irrationality may be permissible. In every family, no matter how decent, there is always one filthy shameless “Malik” – a sore loser, dragging the family name around with his inanity and spawning excruciating annoyance and notoriety. My family has one, and what about yours?

Muslim Fulani Herdsmen Slaughter Dozens of Christians in Nigerian Village

Fulani herdsmen burned down as many as 30 homes in Godogodo, Nigeria.

(CNSNews.com) – Muslim Fulani herdsmen attacked villagers in the village of Godogodo, Nigeria on October 15 with guns and machetes, burning down homes, killing more than 40 people and injuring dozens more.

It was the second attack on the predominantly Christian village in as many months.

The Morning Star Newsfield reporter in Nigeria, Obed Minchakpu, spoke with villagers who survived the brutal attack. He confirmed to CNSNews.com that the attackers were Muslim Fulani herdsmen who have been targeting Christians for more than two years.

Rev. Thomas Akut, pastor of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) Good News Church in Godogodo, told Morning Star News  that he and his family barely escaped the massacre.

Reverend Akut added that the attacks have left all 245 members of his congregation homeless, including himself and his family.

“This is a jihad,” Akut said. “It is an Islamic holy war against Christians in the southern part of Kaduna state.”

“They shot and killed my four children,” survivor Peter Atangi told WorldWatch Monitor. “As we ran for our dear lives, they also set our homes on fire. Many of us have been rendered homeless.”

During a previous attack on Godogodo in September, eight men were killed and eight others were wounded by gunshot and machete cuts, village leaders said.

According to World Watch , “a total of more than 300, mainly Christians, have been killed in repeated attacks by Fulani herdsmen in the past five months, while over 5,000 people have been displaced.”

A total of 1,229 people lost their lives in 2014 due to violence by the Fulani herdsmen, which makes them the world’s fourth deadliest militant group in the world, after the Islamic State (ISIL), the Taliban, and Boko Haram, according to the 2015 Global Terrorist Index.

The Index also ranked Nigeria third in the world for suffering “the highest impact of terrorism.”

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, who is himself a Fulani, responded to the previous attacks and violence earlier this year by ordering his security forces to deter attacks by the herdsmen.

But Rev. Danladi Yarima, secretary of the Northern Christian Association of Nigeria, still blames the Nigerian government for not doing enough to prevent the killings by the semi-nomadic Fulanis, who “played a key role in the 19th century revival of Islam in Nigeria,” according to the BBC.

“We are disheartened that despite the re-occurrence of the attack, the government has not come out with a security plan to stop it,” Yarima told WorldWatch Monitor. “We expected that the government should have mobilized more security personnel to the area.

“Every day, Christians are being attacked and their homes and property destroyed. The killings have continued unabated and we are very worried. We urge the government and well-meaning Nigerians to stop the killings.”

Although the violence is said to be a direct consequence of fighting between herdsmen and local farmers over resources such as farmland, grazing areas, and water sources, Godogodo villagers and those affected by the attacks see no difference between the Fulani herdsmen and another militant Islamic terrorist group, Boko Haram.

“This is another jihad like the one waged by Boko Haram in the northeast of the country,” Nigerian pastor Rev. Augustine Akpen Lev said.

“The attackers carry sophisticated weapons, sometimes they even used chemical weapons on our communities. They just come, often overnight when people are sleeping. They attack defenseless people and go away. They clearly have an agenda: to wipe out the Christian presence and take over the land.”

ExxonMobil Strikes 1-Billion-Barrel Well off Nigerian Shores

ExxonMobil says it has discovered up to 1 billion barrels of oil off Nigeria’s shores.

A statement Thursday says the “significant discovery” at Owowo-3 well extends an existing field worked by the U.S. multinational. ExxonMobil is the operator and owns 27 percent of Owowo. Nigeria’s state oil company holds majority shares. Other partners include Chevron, France’s Total and Chinese-Canadian Nexen.

The news comes the day before ExxonMobil announces third-quarter results.

Oil multinationals in Nigeria are suffering attacks by militants who have slashed production, driving this West African oil giant into recession.

Lagos-based SBM Intelligence risk analysts estimate that ExxonMobil, Dutch-British Shell and Chevron lost $7.1 billion in the first half of this year — some 70 percent of earnings — through militant attacks, low oil prices and weak refinery margins.

Former Miss Finland says Donald Trump grabbed her in 2006

In a new interview, former Miss Finland Ninni Laaksonen says she was groped by Donald Trump 10 years ago. She is now the 13th woman in recent weeks to accuse the Republican presidential nominee of sexual misconduct.

According to the Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat, which published its story Thursday, the incident took place in New York City in 2006, just before Laaksonen and three other Miss Universe contestants were set to appear alongside Trump on the “Late Show With David Letterman.” Trump owned the Miss Universe beauty pageant at the time.

“Before the show we were photographed outside the building,” Laaksonen told Ilta-Sanomat. “Trump stood next to me and suddenly he squeezed my butt. He really grabbed my butt. I don’t think anybody saw it but I flinched and thought, ‘What is happening?’”

Laaksonen, now 30, added that she and the other contestants attended a party where, she recalled, “somebody told me there that Trump liked me because I looked like [Trump’s wife] Melania when she was younger.”

The comment, she said, “left me disgusted.”

Laaksonen joins a growing list of women who’ve accused the presidential hopeful of unwanted touching, kissing and even assault. Many of those who’ve come forward in recent weeks have said they were motivated to do so following the release of a 2005 recording in which Trump is heard boasting about grabbing and kissing women without consent, and his subsequent insistence during a presidential debate that his comments were simply “locker-room talk.”

Laaksonen, however, spoke out about Trump only after she was contacted by Ilta-Sanomat as part of a series of interviews the paper has conducted with Finnish women who’ve met Trump.

A spokesperson for the candidate did not immediately respond to Yahoo News’ request for comment on the latest accusation. Trump, however, has repeatedly denied the previous 12 allegations on the campaign trail, calling the women “liars” and even threatening to sue them all once the election is over.

NAIROBI, Kenya — A man was shot dead after stabbing a policeman guarding the perimeter wall of the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi and trying to take his gun, a Kenyan police official said Thursday.

The policeman who had been stabbed opened fire in self-defense and killed the attacker, said Vitalis Otieno, the officer in charge of the Gigiri area that hosts several embassies and the U.N’s African headquarters.

“He fired first and shot the person and the person died on the spot,” Otieno said.

The identity of the attacker, a Kenyan from the volatile region of Wajir near Somalia, is known to police, Otieno said.

Federal Bureau of Investigation personnel were seen collecting evidence at the scene of the shooting.

The U.S. Embassy confirmed there was a shooting and said no embassy personnel were involved.

Wajir county has been cited by Kenyan authorities as a hot spot for recruitment by the Islamic extremist group al-Shabab from neighboring Somalia.

Al-Shabab has vowed retribution on Kenya for sending troops to Somalia to fight the militants. The group has carried out a wave of attacks in Kenya that have left hundreds dead.

The extremist group claimed responsibility for an attack Tuesday in Mandera county that killed 12 people, saying its fighters were targeting Christians.

Al-Shabab is al-Qaida’s affiliate in the region, and it hosted Fazul Abdallah Mohammed, who was accused of masterminding the U.S. Embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998 that killed over 200 people. Mohammed was shot dead by Somali troops in 2011.

Recently, Kenya has been battling the recruitment of youth by the Islamic State group, which is al-Qaida’s rival. Kenyan police have linked three women who were killed after they allegedly attacked a police station in Mombasa to the Islamic State.
